* I have nine gray hairs. Most of this is from the mortgage to which I am now indebted at least as much as I have earned in my entire life.
* I'm living in a quite sensible apartment with jlx, and we are Going Steady, as I have dated her for 17.3% of my life, or around 1 of every 5.8 days that I've been conscious.
* I would really like the black LG WM2277H Washer because it has an 1100 RPM spin cycle and 3.72 cu. ft. capacity. But it won't fit in my apartment.
* I went to sleep before midnight last night.
* I am right now listening to Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power ever so softly, and I don't bang my head because I'm worried about hurting my neck.
* The spectre of having children is no longer terrifying, it's now merely discomforting.

In other words, I am rapidly aging and I advise you all to come visit me one last time before I go senile and roll you over in my geriatric Segway.

P.S. Quick survey shows 3 out of 5 clipart dudes on the MSDN site have a soul patch. The photos of actual people in the developer forums are far dorkier. Maybe they're trying to cultivate the underrepresented beat programmer?

So the difference between Senility and Insanity is... what? Response time?

Well ...I'm no expert, but I'd figure you're right. Also, it's a matter of maniacal laughter vs. wheezing, but that could just be reinterpretation based on the context.

I don't know.....his response time has always been pretty slow (seriously, try throwing something at him and saying "heads up!" sometime). And that whole asthma thing might rule out the wheezing as being a sign of Senility.....

as you seem to have been blond or multicolored a whopping 100% of the time I have known you, I will scoff in disbelief at your (obviously erroneous) report of nine grey hairs.

It's true! But white hair dyes so well. This part of aging I'm actually looking forward to, I will beat those blue-haired ladies at their own game.

Aw, can it, you young hooligan. I'm even older than you, and puck is older still!
When the hell did we become such doddering old farts? It's so surreal that we're buying houses and people we know are spawning *shudder*

That's totally exciting about washer dryers. Did you know there is such a thing as an apartment-sized washing machine (huge, I know)? May I suggest a front-loading washer-dryer like this> http://www.dynadirect.com/ha-xqg658su.html

Or perhaps something more modest, like the one we have: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=1857293&cat=132964&type=1&dept=4044&path=0%3A4044%3A90548%3A112986%3A132964

You forgot about trouser presses too. They're very important for the aged. What was I saying?

That's a quite exciting front-loading dryer, I definitely want one. In my heart of hearts, I want a front-loading washer and dryer both, but I have an inhuman fear of the door opening and suds spilling into the apartment like a commercial about how juicy some kind of chewing gum is.
Which is kinda gross when you think about it, because they're talking about saliva. Aren't they?

the older you get, the more mummies you get to battle so there's some stuff to look forward to old man.

fuck up a pharoah for me. which could've, in some beautiful universe where i stop and edit, could've been a contextual alliteration. non-contextual alliterations, of course, aren't nearly as impressive.

Jetski -- the concept of you breeding is a little terrifying to me. But, it's not that bad.... Thessaly is the coolest baby ever.
